RM attended C2E2, Chicago's Comics and Entertainment Expo, this past weekend at McCormick place. Aside from the costumes, entertainment guests and panels to attend, there was quite a lot of comic book news from some of the biggest brands in the industry: Marvel, DC Comics and Valiant Enterainment. Here's what RM learned this weekened and what you can expect to see soon on shelves at your local comic book shop:

DC may be planning a "rebirth" of its universe, but some of its series will continue on as usual. The DC Bombshells series has been a hit since 2015 with its positive, female-driven message and retro art style. The series was the main focus of the company's hype this weekend with the 11th issue of the series coming out April 13. In addition, DC comics is excited about the next installment of its Wonder Woman Earth One series, which came out this past November. Only a few pages of sketches were previewed at the convention, but it was enough to generate some excitement.
