Franco Manufacturing Partners with 44 Cats for North America


  • 44 Cats, from Rainbow Group, is expanding its “pawesome” fun with bedding and room decor collections from Franco Manufacturing for the U.S. and Canada.   The license was brokered by The Joester Loria Group and Branding Streams for the USA and Canada.
  • Franco Manufacturing, a leader in the bedding, bath and beach industry, will capture the essence of the 44 Cats brand by creating an extensive bedding and room décor line utilizing the much loved Lampo, Milady, Pilou and Meatball, also known as The Buffycats, to create collections that capture the playful themes of the brand.
  • The collection will include a variety of home products, including juvenile bedding, blankets, throws, pillows, bath towels and accessories, beach, storage, rugs and more and be will be introduced during Market Week, September 16th – 20th.
  • “Franco Manufacturing is excited to be part of the “pawesome” introduction of 44 Cats bedding and accessories to the US and Canada. The animation is amazing, the art is fun, the music is great, and the property is trend-right,” said Stacee Sobin, VP Licensing, Franco Manufacturing.
  • 44 Cats television series in the United States debuted on June 10th, on the Nickelodeon channel and it’s airing successfully. Daily Canadian Broadcasting is launched on Yoopa in French.
  • The series debuted in November 2018 and is enjoying tremendous popularity throughout the world, with a second series already in production. The 52 x 13’ series is an explosive mix of music and cuteness that deals with edutainment themes such as tolerance, diversity and altruism, combining positive values, action and comedy in a sophisticated CGI production. The show, which appeals to preschoolers and children aged 4 – 7, follows the adventures of Lampo, Milady, Pilou, and Meatball - four adorable kittens who are part of a music band named The Buffycats - helping others and always finding creative solutions to everyday hitches.
