Pop-Art Sensation Corey Paige Featured at Art Basel
Corey Paige’s “Peace of Miami” design is the first of 25 Murals that will adorn the “Trackside” show during Art Basel.
New art from Pop-Art Sensation Corey Paige Bloomberg will be featured as a full length outdoor mural kicking off Art Basel Miami in the WYMAC section of the Wynwood Art District, just a short walk from the famous Wynwood Walls Outdoor Museum. The city will even be closing down the street in front of the Corey Paige “Peace of Miami” mural for some of the Art Basel events.
The Corey Paige mural has been created by Galera Collective, and owner Glayson LeRoy, in conjunction with Ron Bloomberg of Bloomberg Equities LLC, the building’s owner and creator of WYMAC district (Wynwood Mural Artists Cooperative) between 23rd and 27th Streets in Miami.
Corey Paige’s “Peace of Miami” design is the first of 25 Murals that will adorn the “Trackside” show during Art Basel and will remain on the building at 55 NE 24th Street Miami for the next 12 months.
“I am so excited to share that one of my favorite signature designs has been transformed into an unbelievable mural,” Corey Paige said in a release. “It has always been one of my dreams to see my artwork blown up on a building and it’s totally surreal to see my dream become a reality. When I learned that this year’s Art Basel theme is humanKIND, I thought this piece was perfect way to connect with the theme spreading peace, love, positivity and social change.”
The Brand Liaison continues to build licensing for the emerging pop-artist. “Corey’s expressive style is perfectly suited for licensing,” President Steven Heller says. “The fun and whimsical art translates to a variety of product from apparel, to pillows to stationery, gifts and wall art.”
