Dec. 6, 2013 - Brixmor Property Group Inc., a national owner and operator of grocery-anchored community and neighborhood shopping centers, received the U.S. Design and Development Award from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) at this year's annual CenterBuild conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Liberty Plaza, located in the Baltimore area, was awarded Silver in the Sustainable Design category.

Dec. 5, 2013 - Bilbo Baggins' journey through Middle-earth resumes on December 13, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) has teamed up with their roster of global licensees to create an array of offerings inspired by the second film of The Hobbit Trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM). From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug returns fans to the world of Middle-earth and will be supported by global licensees across multiple categories, including toys, apparel, publishing and more.

This is one of the findings from the Maritz Loyalty Marketing 2013 Gift Buying Omi Survey. In November 2013, 1,000 consumers participated in an online survey to share their insights on gift buying for the holiday season as well as in general.

Nov. 25, 2013 – As the season of giving approaches, the National Basketball Association (NBA) will launch a comprehensive “NBA Give BIG” program that aims to encourage great work in the community during the holidays. The message is simple: Give. Share. Inspire.

Today, the league introduced its first-ever social media photo mosaic at www.NBA.com/NBAGiveBIG to celebrate and inspire charitable efforts around the world. By using the hashtag #NBAGiveBIG on Twitter and Instagram, fans can join the teams, players and all members of the NBA family by sharing photos, videos and stories from their seasonal community projects from Nov. 25 through Dec. 31.
